This release brings important fixes to consent form signatures, prescription workflows, and appointment management, plus improvements to how your team views patient conversations and upcoming appointments.

Highlights

  • Consent Forms Now Require an Actual Signature When a consent form is set to require a patient signature, patients can no longer bypass it by just typing their name — they must draw their actual signature before submitting. This ensures your consent records are legally complete.
    • Applies to any consent form with a Name / Signature / Date field marked as required
    • Patients will see a validation error if they try to submit without signing
    • Affects consent forms sent through the patient portal and booking flow
  • Cancelled Appointments Hidden from Upcoming View Cancelled appointments no longer appear in the upcoming appointments section of a patient’s sidebar, so your staff always sees a clean, accurate picture of what’s actually scheduled.
    • Find this in the patient sidebar under upcoming appointments
    • Only active appointments (booked, confirmed) are shown going forward
    • Cancelled appointments are still visible in the patient’s appointment history for reference

Improvements

  • Preferred Pharmacy Field Restored The Preferred Pharmacy field is back and working correctly in a patient’s Medical Info section, making it easy to record and view a patient’s pharmacy preference.
    • Find it under the Patient Profile section in a patient’s Medical Info
    • Supports manual text entry so staff can record any pharmacy
    • Ensures pharmacy preferences are captured without requiring any additional setup
  • Conversation Filter Tags Display Correctly The location and tag filters in the Conversations list no longer overflow or get cut off, so you can clearly see all available filter options.
    • Find this in the Conversations page filter panel
    • Filter labels now wrap properly and are fully readable regardless of how many you have
    • No change to how filters work — just a cleaner display

Bug Fixes

  • Service Editing: Deselecting Services Now Saves Correctly Providers can now remove services from their offered list and save without getting an error. Previously, deselecting a service and clicking save would silently fail.
    • Go to a provider’s profile and edit their offered services
    • Deselecting one or more services and saving now works as expected
    • No more generic ‘Error saving changes’ message when updating service assignments
  • Media in Conversations Displays Reliably Images and media shared in patient conversations now load consistently, fixing cases where attachments from certain sources would fail to display.
    • Affects the Conversations page where patient messages with photos or files appear
    • Media sent or stored through different channels now merges and displays correctly
    • Patients and staff should see all attachments without needing to reload
  • Credit Card Terminal Activation Fixed Clinics that have payment terminals assigned to a specific location — rather than the whole workspace — can now activate those terminals without errors.
    • Affects practices using Finix payment terminals at the location level
    • Terminal activation, status checks, and device management all work correctly now
    • No action needed — the fix is automatic for all affected terminals
