This release fixes a critical membership billing issue that was causing automatic payments to be silently skipped for some patients, and resolves location dropdowns not showing all locations for larger practices. Several other reliability improvements are also included.

Highlights

  • Membership Billing Restored A significant issue has been resolved where membership auto-payments were silently skipped for certain patients — meaning charges never went through, but the system still moved forward as if they had. Affected memberships will now bill correctly on schedule.
    • Patients enrolled in memberships without a location assigned were never being automatically charged — this affected 600+ active memberships
    • Missed charges were not retried, and the next payment date continued advancing, making the revenue loss invisible without manual investigation
    • Auto-billing will now process correctly for all membership patients regardless of how they were originally enrolled

Improvements

  • All Locations Now Appear in Dropdowns Practices with more than 10 locations can now see all of their locations in dropdown menus throughout the app — previously, only the first 10 would appear, silently hiding the rest.
    • Affected the office filter on the Schedule page, the location selector when creating or editing services in the Catalog, and the hidden locations setting on your Booking Page
    • Up to 50 locations will now appear in these dropdowns
    • No action needed — the dropdowns will automatically show all your locations
  • Online Booking Rules Work More Accurately Rules that require a patient to have had a prior service before booking certain appointments now correctly check only completed or checked-out visits — not just any appointment on record.
    • Previously, a booked or canceled appointment could satisfy a ‘prior service required’ rule, allowing patients to book services they weren’t actually eligible for
    • Now, only appointments that were completed or checked out count as valid prior service history
    • This applies to online booking, AI chat booking, lead forms, and new-patient appointment length calculations
  • SmartNote Generation More Reliable SmartNotes generated from appointment transcriptions were failing to produce content in roughly 28–30% of cases due to a formatting issue in the AI’s responses. Those failures will now recover automatically instead of producing a blank note.
    • Blank or missing SmartNotes after transcription should be significantly less common going forward
    • When the AI’s output can be recovered, it will be — and when it can’t, the system will retry automatically rather than silently giving up
    • No changes needed on your end; SmartNote generation will simply work more consistently

Bug Fixes

  • Collect Payment Method SMS Fixed An issue was resolved where sending a ‘Collect Payment Method’ link via SMS was not working correctly in some cases.
    • Patients can now reliably receive payment method collection links via SMS
    • This ensures patients can securely add their payment information on file without requiring manual follow-up
